When embarking on bathroom remodeling in KS, you might just be starting to choose your modern sink design in KS. While there are many to choose from, the most contemporary is by far is the wall mount bathroom sink.

This custom bathroom furniture looks simply gorgeous as it hangs inches above the floor, at the perfect custom height for you and can be the show-stopping piece in your bathroom. These sinks are not only some of the freshest designs that you’ll see, they’re also some of the most versatile. Place just one in your custom bath with all the accessories and extras to make it the centerpiece of the room; or use two of them side by side to create instant double sinks – which are all the rage in today’s bathrooms!

Modern wall hung sinks aren’t just beautiful and current though, they can also be a huge space saver. With vanity cupboards built into the base, you’ll still have all that storage you need to keep your essentials tucked away, but it doesn’t take up all the room that a full vanity sink does. By raising the sink, and cupboard, just a few inches off the floor, you now have more storage space underneath for linens or, leave it bare and make your bathroom look even bigger, and even more chic!

Customized bathroom sink designs are all it often takes to change a bathroom’s look from bleak to chic; and they’re often just the inspiration you need to complete the rest of your bathroom!

Government officials, student organizations and city municipalities are all looking for ways to change the way the general public looks at tap water and help them reduce the use of bottled water, which generates tons of waste each year.

The Elkay EZ H20 Bottle Filling System is just the solution for facilities that need access to fresh, clean water for hydration but also want to reduce bottled water dependency and the subsequent environmental effects caused by plastics.

The Elkay EZ H20 fills bottles up to 3 times as fast as standard drinking fountains, and the ease of use provided by single hand operation enables users to quickly fill their cup or container without spills or dropping items. Sanitation is a primary concern especially when it comes to educational and health care facilities. Fortunately, the EZ H20 has an electronic sensor for touch less use to prevent bacteria build up on the spouts. All that’s needed is to place the container or bottle on the unit and fill it up with refreshingly cool water.

The unit also comes in two models: filter less or with a 3,000 gallon filter to reduce particulates. The built in anti-microbial also prevents growth of mold and mildew.

When systems such as these are used, it is often impossible to know if environmental efforts are truly being fulfilled so the Elkay system also includes a Green Ticker that serves as a counter to help users know how many bottles are saved from reaching landfills…just from using the unit.

Grandview Winnelson is proud to offer the Elkay EZ H20 system along with other plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies to our valued customers. As the premier wholesale plumbing supply in Missouri, our commitment to offering superior customer service and premium quality products is unsurpassed. Visit us today to experience the WinWholesale difference.

There are several different factors to consider when selecting a new toilet, depending on what your priorities are for your bathroom. Here are a few different aspects that might make a difference in picking a toilet.

1. Comfort. Both the size and shape of the toilet are factors to consider when thinking about comfort. For instance, an elongated bowl is usually more comfortable than a round one, depending on the size of your bathroom. Height of a toilet is also something that should be noted; shorter toilets would be convenient if you have shorter people in your house, but tall people would certainly appreciate taller ones.

2. Cleanliness. Some toilets (i.e. Ovale toilets) are built with antimicrobial additives that help prevent the growth of bacteria that causes stain and odors, as well as mold and mildew. Because of this, the toilet would stay cleaner for a longer period of time between cleanings.

3. Environmental. For those looking to “go green” in their bathrooms, more eco-friendly toilets are becoming available to decrease the amount of water used by toilets. Examples of two of these styles include the dual flush toilet and the composting toilet. Dual flush toilets offer two different flushing options for solid waste and liquid waste—the latter uses less water. A composting toilet is also known as a “waterless toilet” and uses little to no water at all. However, this type of toilet usually requires the installation of a ventilation system to get rid of fumes.

4. Flush Power. On the other hand, it may be important to you to get a more efficient level of flush power. The most common type of toilet is the gravity flush toilet, which simply uses the weight of water to flush. However, other types include pressure-assisted toilets, which force the water from the bowl at a higher rate, and vacuum-assisted toilets, which increase flush power by creating a vacuum to pull the waste from the bowl.

Obviously there are many other factors to be considered when buying a toilet—specific style, price, how easy it is to clean, etc, but these are examples of a few things worth noting when considering your purchase.

The ioDIGITAL by Meon is a product that allows you to create a personalized shower experience. Instead of fiddling with knobs and dials to try to recreate the perfect temperature and water pressure each time you shower, the ioDIGITAL comes with controls for both temperature and flow.

By using a set of dials installed on the wall of your shower, you can set the exact temperature and flow level you want, and then change those levels at any point during your shower if you want. For those looking to be environmentally conscious about their water use, there is even an option to pause the water flow while shampooing or shaving, and then turning it back on to the same settings without having to adjust all over again.

The ioDIGITAL can be installed in a vertical spa, shower, and roman bathtub. All three offer the same basic settings, with the vertical spa and shower both allowing for four programmable presets (though it is still possible to choose your own settings each time). The Roman tub allows for three presets and comes with the added feature of a safety lock that disables all controls in order to prevent accidental use. The vertical spa, shower, and bathtub all come with an optional remote control so that you can have your perfect bath or shower ready for you before you step in. The faucets for each are available in different metals: chrome, brushed nickel, and oil rubbed bronze. The world of personalized technology has slipped into the bathroom—in a cloud of perfect temperature steam.

While your current bottom line is probably a key issue at the top of your mind if you are considering a kitchen renovation, another important thing to consider is your return on your investment. While you want to keep your prices low during the construction phase, you also need to consider that some extra expenses will be worth it at the end of the day.

Ultimately, the final budget answer will be different for everybody. A kitchen renovation can cost as little as $10,000, or as much as $100,000. The factors that go into determining the final outcome will vary, and will depend on what expertise is required to renovate your kitchen. If for example you are only changing your cabinetry, and all appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems are staying the same, your kitchen renovation will clearly cost you less. The more you change in your kitchen then, the more costs you are going to incur.

The cost issue to keep in mind when you are renovating your kitchen is the return on your investment. Kitchens and bathrooms both are the two rooms in your home that will provide the largest return on your investment as these are the rooms that are known to sell the home. As such, depending on where you live, when renovating a kitchen you can expect at least an 85% return on your investment or in some cases as much as 115%. Thus, renovating a kitchen may seem costly, but you will experience the rewards of those costs when it comes time to sell.

One question on the mind of every homeowner that is renovating a bathroom is, how long will it take. This is an important thing to keep in mind when you are planning a bathroom renovation as this is one of the most frequently used rooms in your home. The answer to how long it will take will depend on a number of factors.

Whether or not you are going for a simple cosmetic revamping, or creating a complete overhaul on all elements will be the key issue in determining how long your bathroom renovation will take. It could take as little as a few days if you are simply changing a few elements and adding a new coat of paint. If however you are removing major fixtures such as bathtubs, showers, toilets, and sinks, you are looking at more time.

When you are changing elements that require expertise in the way of plumbing and electrical systems, you add more time. If you are changing both electrical and plumbing elements, you add even more time. Small bathrooms requiring both of these elements can take as little as a week from start to finish, once you have the design and materials in place. Larger spaces requiring more attention can be accomplished in ten to fifteen business days, once you have the design and materials in place. Any homeowner that has completely rehauled their bathroom knows that the wait for the end product is always worth it, when it is done right.

When you are remodeling your kitchen, you want an updated contemporary look, but on a contemporary budget that matches today’s economy. There are a few things to consider when you are doing so. You can update your entire kitchen with just a few tweaks here and there without completely breaking down an entire room. Here are some tips.1. Layout. The 1980’s created the perfect kitchen layout with an island or breakfast nook. This is somewhat outdated, but you don’t need to tear it out. Adding a few fixtures to your island or nook makes it not only practical, but you can also add some elements to make yesterday’s island contemporary today. Details such as a few stools and placemats will do the trick to create a space that accommodates a computer or even a side desk to accommodate today’s multi-tasking lifestyle.

2. Lighting. Lighting in a kitchen was once accomplished with a key fixture from the ceiling. Today’s kitchens have a layered theme with lighting. One way to do this is to use recessed lighting under your cabinets, or lighting inside your cabinets as well. Also, track lighting is just as possible today and available in a wide range of mix and match styles that can be later switched out to more contemporary looks as your tastes change.

3. Accessories. A lot of people think they need a brand new everything to update their kitchen. Not so. Accessories will do the trick and you would be surprised at how different a kitchen can look with a few accessory details. This could be something as simple as changing your faucets and cabinet knobs, or switching out yesterday’s lazy Susan with today’s contemporary storage shelves and racks.

When you are thinking about remodeling your kitchen, you are doing so with a few motives in mind. One key motive high on the mind of homeowners doing kitchen work today is that it will increase the resale value of their home. But in today’s day and age, it can be very easy to get caught up in the trends and create the kitchen of your dreams. Here we discuss some key points when it comes to remodeling your kitchen in this economy.

Considering the resale value of your home is important when you are remodeling your kitchen today. Of course, that’s a no brainer. However, if you are remodeling your kitchen because you are selling soon, you need to keep today’s real estate market in mind as well. Remember that today’s home buyer is just as budget conscious as you. And you may not get back the $30,000 you put into a brand new kitchen, just because on paper it sounds like a good idea to update before you sell. Today’s home will sell for less than it would have before the Great Recession, and many homeowners forget this thinking that a new kitchen will be the answer to their home selling needs.

Now is the time then to consider spending money on little accents rather than complete overhauls. Think of things like updated paint or tile, or fixtures for your faucets, sink, or lighting. As well, adding new knobs to the cabinets may be just the sprucing up you need when you are remodeling your kitchen in a recession. With kitchen design today, not falling for the latest trends IS the latest trend.

When it comes to renovating your master bath, staying on point with the trends will not only ensure you are using the latest and greatest products, but implementing the slightest trend in your home will increase its value instantly. The … Continue reading →

When it comes to renovating your master bath, staying on point with the trends will not only ensure you are using the latest and greatest products, but implementing the slightest trend in your home will increase its value instantly. The master bath is one of the first place homeowners start their renovating projects, and rightfully so. It has already been discussed why this is so important, here we will get into a little more detail.

The hottest trend in bathroom redesign is turning your master bath into your own indoor spa. The first fixture to consider changing is your bath itself. Do you want to stay with a shower, or go for a deluxe bathtub? Or, do you want to add something that combines both methods? Follow the trends and you are that much closer to your own indoor oasis.

When it comes to showers, wide open spaces are hot right now. The larger, the airier, the better as a large open shower space will allow for the most relaxing way to start your day. Consider large, heavy hinged glass doors to truly create the spa experience. Many homeowners are even taking out the tub entirely to accommodate for this hot new trend.

Another trend if you truly can’t say goodbye to your tub just yet is the noiseless Jacuzzi system. Tubs with jets are a bygone trend, as their noise level just does not always induce the relaxation that every woman loves in her bathtub getaway.

If you want to follow the trends of a spa like oasis in your master bath, you have options to explore to create your own indoor getaway where you will start and finish every day.
