American Standard Launces DXV Brand to Celebrate 15 Decades of Exceptional Design

American Standard is celebrating 15 decades of extraordinary design and craftsmanship with the launch of DXV, a new luxury brand of kitchen and bathroom products, available exclusively in showrooms. Grandview Winnelson has been hard at work remodeling our showroom to showcase this exceptional product line.

The DXV portfolio includes more than 70 product offerings, inspired by historically significant designs and designed by six of the top designers from the United States and Canada.

To celebrate the company’s history, American Standard used the most influential design movements from the company’s history since its inception in 1872 as the framework for the DXV products. The fixture and faucet collections represent four broad movements and were inspired by the designs of those time periods:

  • Classic – 1880-1920
  • Golden Era – 1920-1950
  • Modern – 1950-1990
  • Contemporary – 1990-today

Each movement collection contains one or two bathroom fixture suites and complementary faucet collections that reimagine and reinterpret historically significant designs from that period. DXV fixtures and faucets are not merely reproductions, but rather they combine the beauty and character of the past with the technology and performance needs of today. The DXV line also includes a collection of kitchen sinks and fittings and the AT Series, a state-of-the-art smart toilet and bidet seat. Pieces from different DXV collections can be mixed and matched to create unique, personalized designs.
