The kitchen sink is probably the hardest working component of your kitchen. But just because it has to work hard, doesn’t mean it can’t look great. BLANCO creates innovative and luxurious sinks that are both durable and beautiful in a variety of styles and materials to complement any kitchen.
BLANCO offers stylish sinks in three materials: granite composite, stainless steel, and fireclay. While each of these materials offer their own benefits, all of them are durable enough to stand up to years of use.
Granite composite: BLANCO’s SILGRANIT II granite composite sinks are made from a hard-as-stone material that offers a smooth-as-silk surface. SILIGRANT II is 80 percent solid granite. SILIGRANIT II sinks will resist stains and scratches and will not fade. They offer heat resistance to 536 degrees and unmatched cleanability that is backed by seven industry-leading patents. SILGRANT II comes in eight beautiful colors in both cool and warm tones.
Stainless Steel: BLANCO’s stainless steel sinks are constructed to the highest manufacturing standard in the world using premium stainless steel. They feature a satin polished finish made exclusively in Germany. This amazing finish results from an extensive polishing process that give the sink a finish that is luxurious and extremely consistent. This special finish also make theses outstanding sinks hygienic and easy to clean.
Fireclay: BLANCO’s CERANA fireclay sinks are created with artisan hand-finishing techniques and high-firing temperatures. CERANA sinks have a lustrous yet durable surface that is shock-resistant. These sinks can stand up to years of heavy use and will resist scratching, chipping, and staining and will not rust, fade, or discolor. CERANA fireclay sinks are also highly resistant to bacteria.
BLANCO’s outstanding kitchen sinks are available in a variety of sizes and bowl configurations to fit any needs. They are available in three mounting styles:
Undermount: Undermount sinks are seamlessly mounted beneath the countertop, eliminating the need for a rim between the countertop and the sink. The lack of a rim makes it easier to clean your counter, allowing you to wipe food directly into the sink. Undermount sinks work well with granite, marble, and engineered stone countertops.
Drop-in: This is the classic mounting style. The sink is inserted from above into a pre-cut hole in the countertop. BLANCO’s drop-in sinks have a raised rim that rests above the counter. Drop-in sinks work well with all counter types.
Apron-front: BLANCO offers both stainless steel and fireclay apron-front sinks. Apron-front sinks, sometimes called farmhouse sinks, slide into an opening in the countertop. This mount style requires that a custom sink base and additional supports be added to the cabinet to support the weight of the sink. BLANCO’s stainless steel apron-front sinks are available in SteelArt Precision or Magnum Farmhouse styles. BLANCO’s fireclay apron-front sinks have a unique reversible design that allow them to be installed with a traditional rounded front or with a more contemporary squared front.
Once you’ve selected your new kitchen sink, pick the perfect faucet to match. BLANCO offers an extensive selection of exceptional kitchen faucets.
